Seahorse & Seaweed

I have had this little seahorse and Distress Stain spray background earmarked for each other for ages. They were put aside, and I have slowly been adding bits. Sometimes it happens that way. Usually my cards come together quite quickly, but occasionally it’s a slow assemblage process. Even today when I thought I had finished, I took a photo, and realised the seahorse was still a bit flat looking, and the card needed a wording. I applied Glossy Accents to his fins, sprinkling fine glitter over whilst still wet, and added more definition to his eye. After stamping the wording in black at the top, it then looked too top heavy, so intertwined some black sticks with the seaweed at the base of card, for balance. Happier with it now. Finally, (because I couldn’t help myself) I put some touches of Liquid Pearls and Distress Stickles over the seaweed.
