Lotus Bouquet

How gorgeous is this new waterlily stamp (Lotus Bouquet 19087) from Paper Rose Studio! I used Distress Stain sprays for the backgrounds. Usually I colour my white card completely, but sometimes it’s nice to leave some white. Was toying with the idea of adding a wording to the above card, but decided it was more peaceful without.

After finishing my flower on the green card, I decided to add the script wording in the background. That was my first mistake, as it all went downhill from there, haha. This meant I had to mask off the flowers (ugh!) and then I stamped the wording on the middle right UPSIDE DOWN!!! Seriously don’t know how that happened! So I had to find something big enough to cover up my error. I fiddled with that wording plaque for ages, changing ink colours of the wording and background numerous times. Not totally happy with the result as it is looks a bit busy, but it is done and I have moved on with my life. Sometimes it’s the smallest things that take up the most time.
