The Cut of your Perfume

I saw this shaped card on a Cardmaking Fb page. The lady had seen it on Pinterest and constructed her own version. There were no instructions and they didn’t know what it was called. It looked simple enough, so I had a go myself. Anything that requires any type of precision cutting or folding is usually not my thing, but because it looked easy, I made an attempt. If it didn’t work, I wouldn’t have to tell you , would I? Anyhoo, quite happy with how it turned out, so here’s how I did it. If anyone knows the name of it, please put it in the comments box so everyone can see. And if you do have a go yourself, would love for you to post a photo with your comment.

This design will work with any size square card, so choose your envelope first and work backwards. Have a play with it on different size and shaped cards. I noticed some ladies matted their triangles before overlapping them. Probably easier than the way I did it. You could wrap the patterned card around from the back, or you could use both sides of a double sided patterned card. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
