Tea Cup Stacks

Not sure about you, but I’m nearly over this theme. I do have 2 more posts to go though, so to sweeten the deal, I will post my favourite ‘Date and Ginger’ cake recipe tomorrow. What’s tea without cake?

Distress Stain sprays ‘Brushed Pewter’ and ‘Pumice Stone’ were used to create this background, but I was a bit over enthusiastic with the metallic I think (they’re notoriously hard to stamp over). That’s why I chose to silver emboss the wording, but then I had to edge it with a very fine black pen in places to make it stand out.

I stamped the jungle print in ‘Coffee’ Archival ink across the bottom of my card to replicate a tablecloth, then stamped it again onto my bottom cup. I sponged the top and bottom cups with ‘Antique Linen’ Distress ink, and sponged ‘Vintage Photo’ over the middle cup and also the saucer. In case you’re wondering, that funny thing on the right is a sugar cube! I hand drew it onto supersheet (2-sided sticker paper), poured crystal glitter over it, and Magic Mounted it into place. Just felt it needed a little something to fill that space. Hope the rest is self explanatory.

Bonus buy below, haha. Popped this little paper collage stack of tea cups card onto the bottom of this post, as I am really ready to move onto another subject matter, but didn’t want it to go to waste.
