The Song in your Heart

After many years of stamping, I still occasionally smudge it. This was another unsatisfactory background which I rescued from my by now infamous ‘box’. I had white embossed some flowers onto a white card, then sponged Distress inks (Dried Marigold, Tumbled Glass and Worn Lipstick) over. It didn’t quite work out for what I had intended it for, but I was looking for something light and bright for this card. When I went to stamp the fairy out, I wobbled and got double lines happening, luckily not on his face! So using the Black Archival refill and a fine paintbrush, I painstakingly went over the whole thing, smoothing the edges. Double lines still on his antennae and wings, but to quote my dear old granny, surely “a blind man running for his life would never notice”.

  1. That’s my last fantasy card for now, I’m off to put the kettle on and make some tea and coffee cards 🙂
