Kookaburra circle

Apologies for my long leave of absence without giving notice, sometimes life just gets in the way. And you’d think having had that break, I’d come back all refreshed and full of creative ideas, but I find just the opposite is true, that it usually takes me a while for the creative juices to start flowing again. That’s my excuse anyway, for why I had to go out and buy myself a new toy in the shape of this “Honeysuckle Plant” 21201 Paper Rose die. I combined it with an old Stamp-it Kookaburra stamp and a Hero Arts wording for this card. The background and plant were sponged with Distress Oxide inks Bundled Sage, Speckled Egg & Crushed Olive. I used Buttercup Liquid Pearls to highlight plant tips.

  1. Such a bright and happy card, and I love the way a Kookaburra can cheer you up just by being. I can hear it laughing. Thanks for the instructions as well. You are definitely inspiring me to get into making more cards xox
