Geraldton Wax Gumnut Babies

More from my gumnut baby series using Paper Rose’s ‘Bush Babies‘ set 17529, together with Stamp-it’s Geraldton Wax flower. The sleeping baby background was created with Distress Oxide ink pads (Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin & Worn Lipstick). The ‘Baby’ word is a die from Alexandra Renke. I applied Glossy Accents over the flowers.

The background for this card was created with Distress Stain sprays (Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold & Evergreen Bough). The wording is from Stamp-it. I used watercolour pencils to colour, then added tiny dots of pale pink Liquid Pearls to open flowers.

The Geraldton Wax flower used in the card below is from the “Bush Babies” set. I stamped it multiple times to create the background. The brown half circle is actually a thin piece of bark, which has this beautiful texture. The ‘love’ word is a die, cut out of gold foil board.

A big shout out to all the ladies from Harvey, who love May Gibbs gumnut babies! Look forward to seeing you all soon for card classes 🙂
