Teal & brown watercolour - dolphinTeal & brown watercolour - boatThese scenic cards are quick and easy to make and are great for Men’s cards:

1.  Spritz a piece of watercolour card with water, then add some blue shades of Dylusion or Distress ink  sprays to create your watery lagoon. Try not to get too much colour in the top half of the card.

2. While still wet, run the tip of a Walnut and/or Rusty Hinge Distress re-inker nib across the horizon line. It will bleed into the blue wetness to form your island. You can continue to add more water or ink and manipulate with a wet paintbrush until happy with the result. Dry.

3. Create cloud effects by dabbing Snow Cap (white) and Pearl Adirondack Dabber Paints together across skyline. Or you may prefer a little moonlight instead. Just cut out a circle in matt white card and spritz it with Pewter Perfect Pearls Mist. Dry. Glue Moon into desired position.

4. Attach metal charms of dolphins or yacht. Matt finished picture onto contrasting brown card and mount onto backing blue card.
