I love boats! And they are a great subject for male cards, which can sometimes be a struggle. I have chosen a line from Stamp-it’s 2911C Journey Words on each of these cards as the common thread to link them.

SAIL AWAY: 4482G A Map, 4619E Wind & Sails; Distress Stain background (Tumbled Glass & Bundled Sage)

VOYAGE: 1073G Windward, 3530E Vintage Compass, 4496E Voyage

JOURNEY: 3839E Go Confidently; paper sailboat made using origami folds

Look to the Future

John & Bo 63So finally it is happening – my first post:) I wanted to share with you this card I made for John’s 63rd birthday. It is one of the new designs from Stamp-it’s “Whirl” catalogue and it was taken from a photo I took of John one very foggy morning as he walked our dog Bo off down the street into the mist. I thought he’d be chuffed getting such a personalised card with his own image on it. I have used the stamp a number of times since and found it quite a good design for male cards in general.

Materials list: si4965F Going That Way; White and Black Matt Card, Brown Prismatic Bazzill Card, various Bo Bunny scraps of paper; Jet Black & Sepia Archival Pads, Clear Embossing Pad, Vintage Photo Distress Powder, Rusty Hinge and Iced Spruce Distress Stains; Alphamix Letter, Harvest Pot Pourri, Camera Charm, Idea-ology Film Strip Ribbon, Twine

Below are some of the other cards I have made using this stamp.
