I have been selling my cards at the Art Market on board the ‘Decoy’ tied up at the South Perth foreshore, so this card seems appropriate subject matter:) The next one is on the 21st Oct but I can’t attend, but hopefully some of you can make it along for the 4th November to say hello!

I stamped out the German Anchorage stamp in black ink onto white card, dried it, then put a wash of yellow and blue watercolour over. I coloured everything in, adding gold and copper foils to the anchor. I stamped the seagull out a 2nd time onto scrap white card, cut out body only and Magic Mounted over original. The starfish I dotted with pale blue Liquid Pearls.

I stamped the seahorse (by Deep Red) onto scrap of white card, coloured in blue and cut out. I added clear Rock Candy Distress Stickles to cheek, Crackle Accent to hollows of body and tail, and Star Dust Stickles to fins. When dry I Magic Mounted into place entwined with seaweed die cut. The seaweed I coloured with various Distress Stains (mainly Rust) and highlighted tips with Copper Liquid Pearls.
