papers: Kraft, Flamingo & Cantaloupe Bazzill Cards, scraps of patterned papers

accessories: Texture Paste; Orange Chalk; Watercolour Pencils; Diamond Stickles; Pink Rhinestone; Black Zig Pen; Dark Chocolate Liquid Pearls

adhesives: Two-sided Tape; Magic Mount

tools: Elliptic Stencil mini 605s by TCW; Scissors; Waterbrush; Fine Paintbrush; Sponging Block; Palette Knife

  1. Assemble scraps of co0rdinating papers and adhere to kraft card in desired pattern.
  2. Stamp ‘Gooseneck’ girl in black ink off center to the left. Stamp her again onto scrap white card, colouring in her dress and bow (in hair) only with watercolour pencils. Cut out dress and bow.
  3. Lay stencil over (ensuring her face is inside the square) and smear texture paste through with the aid of a palette knife. Lift off and wash stencil and knife immediately. Set card aside till texture paste is dry.
  4. Sponge orange chalk around inside of circle. Draw brown watercolour pencil along inside edge of circle and outside edge of square, then wet with a waterbrush to blend out.
  5. Colour in girl, including using Dark Chocolate Liquid Pearls for her hair, applied with fine paintbrush. Magic Mount previously cut out dress and bow over main image. Affix pink rhinestone to center of bow. Apply diamond Stickles to trim of skirt.
  6. Write wording by hand onto card with black Zig pen.
