Blue & Brown Leaf

Dies: Sizzix Layered Leaf 660039 (this contains cutting die & matching embossing folder)

Inks: Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky & Frayed Burlap Distress pads; Coffee & Sepia Archival pads; Copper Perfect Pearl Mists

Papers: ivory matt card scraps, white matt card (11x14cm), dark brown backing card (22.6x15cm), cardboard

Tear along bottom edge of white matt card. Sponge with Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky & Frayed Burlap Distress inks. (*Optional:  Ink some  corrugated card with Walnut Stains Distress Stain, flip over, ink side down, onto your card and press down. This acts like a stamp and will create dark brown lines of ink across your card).  Attach finished piece to dark brown backing card.Reg leaves 006

Cut a piece of cardboard from old box to desired size. Tear along bottom edge. Sponge edges with Sepia ink. Attach to card.

Cut out leaf from ivory scrap. Emboss leaf using folder.  Sponge raised areas of leaf with Weathered Wood Distress ink. Sponge around edges with Sepia ink. Magic Mount onto card. Spritz lightly with Copper Perfect Pearl. Sponge length of string with brown ink. Tie bow and glue to apex of leaf stem.

Stamp wording circle of choice from set in Coffee ink. Punch out circle. Sponge with Weathered Wood & Sepia inks. Magic Mount onto card.

The *optional background card and some different effects achieved by inking up corrugated card and using it like you would a large background stamp.
