Open Subway embossing folder and lightly sponge bleach onto top half. Insert black card into folder, close, and put through Big Shot machine as normal. Open folder, take out black card and immediately wash bleach off folder. Leave black card aside to dry. The bleach will discolour card causing brown rusty looking patches around letters. When dry, cut card in half lengthways. Attach half to center of stamped ivory card (leaving other half for future project). male cards 010male cards 015

Cut out brick wall die in Big Shot machine in light brown card. Cut section to fit across bottom of card. Colour with Black Soot & Rusty Hinge Distress Stains. Glue across bottom of card.male layers 014

Stamp gentleman in black Archival ink onto white card and colour with layers of Distress Stains, starting with the palest colour first (see below). Ensure each layer is dry before adding another layer of colour, as you want the underneath layer to show through in areas and not blend in with the next colour. You don’t have to be too particular about staying in the lines, as you are going to cut him out. Cut him out (tearing across bottom section). Magic Mount him to card front. Fill eye glass in with Glossy Accents. Leave to dry. (note: this is not the original sample I used on the finished card).male layers 015
