Perky Poppy 3

My third posting in this 3 part series, suggesting ways to use this Memory Box die.

For this sample I have kept the background card and popped the flower frame back inside the space to define it. Behind it is a piece of card from my ‘background’ box, what was once white kromekote (gloss) card, brightly coloured with Alcohol Inks. I like to leave a little of the coloured card peeping around the edge, (seems a shame to cover up all that deliciousness).

Stamp wording (from Unity Stamp co) in black ink.

I added a strip of turquoise card to pick up that colour in the flower head, and some silver cord for interest. Assembled onto white folded backing card.

VARIATION:

Of course there is nothing stopping you from doing multiple cuts of the poppy die onto your card front. Here is one made with a different coloured Alcohol Ink background.

I hope you have enjoyed this mini series and gained some inspiration. There will be another series soon to follow using Memory Box’s ‘English Rose Bouquet” die.
