stamps: Magical Day #40-305 by Penny Black

inks: Jet Black Archival Pad; Abandoned Coral Distress Pad; Abandoned Coral & Cracked Pistachio Distress Stains

papers: White Matt Card; Aloe Vera & Moss Bazzill Cards; Teresa Collins “Freestyle Crown” (reverse) FR1603

accessories: Gold & Star Dust Stickles; Watercolour Pencils; Crystal Glitter

adhesives: Two-sided Tape; Magic Mount; Glossy Accents

tools: Teflon Matt; Scissors; Waterbrush; Paper Trimmer

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Create peach and aqua puddles of ink with the Distress Stains onto the Teflon matt. Swipe your white card through it. Repeat if needed until covered. While still wet, dribble some Glossy Accents over it in a swirly motion. Set aside to dry.
  2. Stamp fairy godmother into center of now coloured card in black ink. Stamp her again onto scrap of white card. Colour in with watercolour pencils and use a waterbrush to blend colours. Cut her out and glue into place over image on main card.
  3. Layer card front onto light green matting, then orange spotty card, and finally onto folded grey/green backing card.fairy godmother 4
  4. Stamp wording in black ink onto scrap of white card. Cut to required size. Sponge over with Abandoned Coral ink. Magic Mount at base of card front.
  5. Apply Glossy Accents with paintbrush to fairies wings and sprinkle glitter in while still wet. Decorate star with Gold Stickles and swirl around fairy wand with Star Dust Stickles. Set aside to dry. fairy godmother 2

  1. I just love the thought of a fairy godmother coming to our house…. so will do my best to recreate a card like this to send to a friend who needs it even more than I do. Just love the simple way you put the instructions. Looking forward to seeing more. Cheers Judy
